Think of a beautiful flowing river that moves no matter the obstacle.
This river is a continuous flow moving always within the potential and possibility of all energy.
The river is a flow of divine energy containing the infinite possibility of the universe.
This river is the flow of All That Is. Along the unbreakable connection between your physical being and your soul point, flows your own river of universal potential and possibility.
The flow comes without demand or requirement.
There is nothing for you to do or be to receive the flow as the flow is created by the universe as a natural part of who you are.
The river is a channel between your soul’s divine knowing and your physical becoming.
This river is perfectly organized to bring to you all that you need to move on the path of your highest good.
Because you are a being of divine energy eternally participating in the never ending flow of the universe, your highest good is not static.
Rather your highest good is flowing, dynamic and, from a linear point of view, constantly adapting to the motion of your journey. This means that your highest expression is not a destination to achieve; it is not a “thing” to be accomplished or something to get done.
Your highest expression is the divine journey your soul undertakes to express the undeniable: your unique you, a perfect emanation of eternal source.
The river is support, acknowledgment, and guidance.
The flow is constant, without end and never stops even if or when you feel you are “bad.”
Your river is one of grace, of abundance, that judges not, that condemns not, that withholds nothing.
Receiving, then, is the act of opening to your flow, allowing it in, seeing yourself enveloped in its waters, strengthened by its air, cleansed by its fire and grounded in its earth.
Receiving is the conscious act of engaging your entire self, body, mind and soul, in the creative flow of the universe.
Receiving is saying “yes” to your wholeness and the wholeness of All That Is.
Receiving lets go of the self-created obstacles and boulders.
Receiving judges not, condemns not, withholds nothing.
Like a hiker wading in a clear mountain stream, you set aside your one ton pack, and slowly enter the flow of the stream, aware of the motion of the water and the integrated dimensions surrounding you, allowing yourself to become part of the eternal flow.
Receiving gives you the sustenance for your journey, and clarity to see the blocks that can be safely laid aside.
Receiving brings you to the ever present Now, encouraging you to release whatever no longer serves.
Receiving is your being receiving you.
Not receiving doesn’t stop your river.
Not receiving is only lack of awareness of the flow.
The flow continues no matter what – this is the flow’s unalterable nature.
Not receiving leaves you feeling cut off, unloved, unsupported, unwanted, “unflowable.”
Not receiving usually comes from judging: I don’t want that, I don’t like that, I didn’t ask for that.
Whatever “that” is, in the moment of frustration you see “that” as the only possibility.
Instead of feeling the entire flow, you focus on one drop, forgetting the rest of the river.
See the river, feel it flowing always to you, through you, within you.
Receive you.
