Within an Akashic Record Reading, “information” comes in three forms: knowledge, known, and knowing. This transmission is between the Reader, the Receiver, and the Akashic Records.
In early monastic traditions, the lectio divina was the reverential reading aloud of scripture or holy text. The Reader listened with body and mind, heart and soul, allowing the energetic spiritual resonance of the words to open awareness to the presence of divinity within and without. The act of uttering sacred words with deeply meditative intention inspires connection with the Divine, with God, with All That Is.
In the same spirit, the Akashic Record Reading is an inspired reading aloud of an individual’s divine soul story. The use of the word reading is purposeful in the context of the Akashic Records much in the same way as the lectio divina holds purpose: to connect to the deepest and broadest soul aspects of the person and recognize their deep affinity with All That Is.
When the Akashic Records are opened for a person, three elements join to create the flow of the Reading:
Receiver: the person whose records are opened is the focus of the Reading. An Akashic Record Reading is always driven by the intention of this person, the Receiver.
Reader: the person who opens the Akashic Records for the Receiver. The Reading is conducted and guided by the Akashic Records Reader within agreements and with a single focus, the Receiver.
Reading: the flow of knowing accessed, received, and transmitted by the Reader for the Receiver from the Receiver’s Akashic Records.
An Akashic Record Reading always occurs in a unique moment in time. The Reader is who she is in the moment of opening. The Receiver is who he is in the moment. Neither will be the same people in a day, month, or year. Thus, the Reading offered and received in this moment is only possible in this moment and can never be repeated. This unique aspect fuels the resonance of the Reading and offers the foundation for the sacred space of the Reading for both the Reader and the Receiver.
The Akashic Records may be accessed at many levels, across the entirety of the energy continuum, potential to form, spiritual to physical. With intention and with the support of Agreements, the Reader accesses the Receiver’s Akashic Records at the Soul Point within Non-Physical Reality. Deep access at this level means that the Reading will be offered from the soul’s point of view and not limited to a physical perspective. In this sense, an Akashic Record Reading is a telling of the soul’s story within the divine knowing of this moment, here, now.
The content of an Akashic Record Reading comes through the knowing of the Receiver’s Akashic Records.
In the context of the Reading, knowing has three aspects.
Knowledge
Knowledge encompasses in this moment what is known, unknown and unknowable. Emerging from Non-Physical Reality, the knowledge of the Reading flows within this moment from the infinite and the eternal.
The Receiver will most likely be highly focused on the linear and the immediately practical. When someone has a burning desire to know, to have a question answered, or solve a dilemma, the strength of the motivation can narrow the focus. This reduced vision is part of the reason the Receiver is having difficulties finding solutions and has sought out a Reading.
The Reader, clear in the dynamic aspects of the Reading, holds a broad space to allow the Receiver to step beyond the known and receive from the unknown and the unknowable. A person comes to an Akashic Record Reading to learn what she doesn’t know. The Reader, by opening the Akashic Records for her, opens a channel for the Receiver to access the entirety of knowledge relevant in the moment to whatever question or issue is raised. This openness allows the Receiver to move beyond limitation and experience the Reading as a process of discovery, healing, and focused personal support. At its most profound levels, an Akashic Record Reading moves into the sacred space of knowing, healing, and spiritual practice.
Known
In a Reading, the known is of both Reader and Receiver. Each are who they are in the moment of the Reading and each are experiencing a unique moment in their lives within the Reading.
The known has both physical and spiritual components which fuel the Reading. Both Reader and Receiver have practical, everyday awareness of what is needed to live fully within this physical arena. Each also has access and support from the inherent spiritual transcendence of human life. They have had their own experiences filled with challenge and success which fuels their known.
This aspect of known cannot entirely be eliminated from the flow of the Reading. The Reader’s responsibility is to refrain from dumping his known on the Receiver, allowing the Receiver to move and receive beyond any limitations inherent in the known.
Knowing
Knowing, a gathering of what can be known in the moment, is the entire energetic flow of the Reading. In the beginning of the Reading, the Receiver is focused on receiving information to answer questions. This happens, in part, because most people think that information is the only benefit of an Akashic Record Reading. The Receiver is also wanting to answer a heart-felt urge to understand and feel clarity about life and the situation raised in the Reading.
The Reader, however, holds the broader understanding that the Reading is an energetic conduit from the soul which is transmitting knowing as a deep soul-level process of emerging awareness. In this awareness comes the ability to process—on all levels body, mind, heart, and soul—anything which does not serve, following a path to release the unneeded confidently and completely. In other words, the Reader opens a much bigger door than is expected initially by the Receiver, a door to release, healing, transformation, and integration.
The combination of knowledge, known, and knowing moves the sacred space of the Reading to the edge between the unknown and the unknowable. At this edge, with expectation released, the unexpected moves forward to power clear vision and understanding which underlies the energetic motion of healing. Able to move beyond what is known, the Reader creates the space for the Receiver to discover more, beyond the habit of mind, and move into the abundance of heart and true soul balance.
The Reading lights the horizon. The Reader witnesses the motion. And the Receiver embraces new visions of self-discovery, self-truth, and self-trust.
A profound moment of love which gives full attention to the divine capacity of the Reading, the Reader, and the Receiver.
