When you learn to open your Akashic Records, at some point you will face a crisis of trust. Paradoxically this crisis offers the gift of trust. Let me explain by beginning with a little background!
The Beginning of My Journey with the Akashic Records
When I first began my journey into the deeper parts of myself, I wasn’t very sure of myself.
I found trusting myself was challenging.
I questioned myself and the world around me.
I thought perhaps learning some special skill or technique might help.
And you might think I learned to open the Akashic Records for this reason.
Nope! I first learned to open the Akashic Records because I was focused on helping a friend step into her new role as a teacher.
I wasn’t thinking about me.
Instead, I was hugely surprised! I really enjoyed the process of accessing the Akashic Records.
For me the learning and connecting process had a huge effect on me.
Most surprisingly, I learned how to trust myself at progressively deeper levels in all aspects of my life.
Thus, the whole the-Akashic-Records-helped-me-find-trust thing wasn’t anything I expected.
Moving Forward to Now
Of course, now with over twenty years of experience, I understand why trusting myself was the result.
Every student I have had has also had the same experience.
TRUST! That’s the primary benefit of learning to open the Akashic Records.
Not because some higher power or whatever is telling you what to do.
Learning to open the Akashic Records and then developing a consistent practice over time leads you to finding your capacity for self-trust within yourself.
If you don’t give up, trust blooms.
Yes, there will probably be some tough moments or troubling doubt – but these are signs that you are letting go of your personal inner blocks to trust.
Crisis of Trust
However, in the first year in particular, the tendency to doubt, to worry, to be concerned that somehow what you are doing isn’t the Akashic Records can create a powerful block.
I think of this doubt as a trust crisis.
Learning to work with the Akashic Records as a spiritual practice will encourage you to let go of whatever no longer serves you.
This means you will find you will experience shift, change, and the emergence of new perceptions.
You will let go and you will allow in new.
Thus, in learning this spiritual practice, while the most frequent powerful learning is self-trust, the biggest obstacle most students face is trust.
Can I trust that I’m doing this right?
Can I trust what I am receiving?
Can I trust the Akashic Records?
Can I trust Cheryl?
Can I trust myself?
Learning to open your own Akashic Records is all about trust: developing it, accepting it, working with it.
Resolving the Crisis
The resolution of your trust crisis comes in two simple steps: practice and ignore the inner voice of doubt.
The process I share with you to access your Akashic Records creates a firm foundation for you so that you can begin to work through whatever raises questions about trust.
This gives you a chance to see what makes you feel shaky or bumpy. what raises doubt and mistrust.
With consistent practice, asking me for assistance, and giving yourself a chance to learn – all this gives you the opportunity to move through crisis and into trust.
In the process, you find that trust becomes a firmer experience throughout all of your life and not just within your Akashic Records practice.
The challenge of trust offers the gift of trust.
