Overcoming Distractions in Opening the Akashic Records: part of learning to open the Akashic Records is learning to focus despite distraction. Cheryl shares options from the Records for the beginner.
Q: How do I open the Akashic Records when I live in a van with my boyfriend?
Cheryl:
Generally, no, there’s not any weirdness about this situation.
The issue really is about what’s easiest for you to do to focus.
If he’s hanging over your shoulder, probably you’re not focused very well.
Whereas if he’s off in the other corner of the van doing his thing, and you can focus then, that’s not a problem at all.
Student:
I remember in your book, you did say in the beginning that you were saying that, at a certain point, you can train yourself to be able to go into the records anywhere that you are.
Cheryl:
That’s right. Yes, that’s it exactly. You want to develop this to the point that you could do it anywhere. It wouldn’t have to be an optimal place, not if you’re confident and you’re focused.
And, interestingly, you’re not the only student I know who lives in a van.
Thus, it’s really just working out a way in which you feel that you’re respecting your space, you’re able to concentrate, and you’re able to do what you need to do.
I used to tell students to always be by themselves because the blessing is something to respect and keep to yourself. But given the blessing is now in a book that’s around the world the process of respect shifts.
Bottomline, if you feel like you’re not able to concentrate and you’re around those who will not respect your space when you open, that’s where the trouble comes.
