The Experience of Spirit and Body

The Experience of Spirit and Body: Learning to embrace your physical-spiritual integration.

Question: Is it possible for a spirit and body to be together on Earth, even if it’s for milliseconds?

Cheryl:

They’re very excited that you said that because what that does is provide the basis for understanding why the Records say healing is balance, because that ability to take in the idea that we are physically, spiritually integrated is about awareness and awareness is balance.

And it’s also what gives us the sense of healing, right? Of shifting away from something that’s not working towards something that is working, where you feel the alignment. You feel what you were just saying, that momentary experience of alignment.

Because the thing is that we are actually all physically, spiritually integrated, and what we’re doing is we’re developing more and more awareness of that integration, because to a certain degree, a lot of our history over the last, let’s say, two to three thousand years was trying to convince us that we were not integrated, that we were separated, that we were divided.

In a whole lot of ways, living life inside out is, I’m going to say this is what they’re saying, it’s calling bullshit on all of it, right? It’s just that’s a lie that I’m not going to allow myself to believe anymore, and I’m certainly not going to let it direct what my life is about.

We have that sense that it doesn’t work. We bump our noses into the limitations imposed on us. This sentence is, my two halves, or my body and my spirit, are coming into balance.

All of these reminders, all of these sensations, all of these prefaces, are to bring me to balance. And more importantly, it’s actually that you are becoming aware that balance is.

Because balance is the nature of all of it. And we, as human beings, are learning that balance is, that there’s nothing we have to do, right?

So there’s no program for us to follow to get to a place where there is balance.

Anything that we do, like the way I define spiritual practice has to do with the consciousness and the awareness that you bring to any activity that helps you experience the balance that is.

So all the things that we’re told that we should do, the meditation, on and on, those aren’t end goals in and of themselves, they’re methods to help us get to the sense of our balance. And then that takes us back to the whole thing of everybody gets there the way they need to get there.

So our paths may be similar, but ultimately each person’s path is their path.

And every bit of it won’t be exactly the same as everybody else.

And so that’s why different things get you down the road in different ways.

So if you’re going inside out, you’re starting with yourself and you’re learning to trust yourself and believe in the truth of who you are as a guide, then that means that’s the focus that you take to anything you may hear, right?

You hear me talk about opening the Akashic Records, so instead of saying, Cheryl’s got this amazing program, and it’s going to change my life if I do it exactly right.

Versus, wow, she’s saying some interesting things, and that works for me, and that works for me, right?

And when I learn how to open the Records, I’m not learning how to do it so I’m exactly like Cheryl.

I’m learning how to do it so that it’s mine. It’s me. It’s something I’m doing for me.

And that’s a very different foundation and motivation for how you live your life than thinking you’ve got to go out and do everything perfectly.

Participant: When this happens to me, I feel like I’m love. I feel like the whole package is just love. I just feel love when this happens to me.

Cheryl:

Yeah, I agree with you. I have the same experience.

And they’re saying that’s why we define love the way we define love.

So the way that the Records have always defined love for me is that love is in that first moment that the soul says I am and has an awareness of its individual expression.

It’s individual, unique expression.

One of the awarenesses that the soul takes in is that it is fully seen, fully taken in by All That Is.

In other words, love is the experience of the full attention of All That Is.

So that when you experience love, you’re experiencing that.

It’s not even acceptance, right?

Because it doesn’t ever have to go through that process of, is this good? Is this bad?

It’s just taking in entirety without hesitation.

Then you learn you have the same capacity to give full attention to another.
