Worthiness and the Akashic Records

Learning to open the Akashic Records for another will really push at your sense of worthiness to access the Akashic Records. This is an excerpt from my book Open the Akashic Records for Other.

Looking into the depths of self is scary. What if there is nothing there? What if what’s there is no good, flawed, decrepit on all levels body, mind, heart, and soul?

The fear of being found out as a fraud, as less than, as valueless drives many to avoid learning, to deny self, to pull away beyond the attention of others and the flow of self-awareness. Avoiding the deep, humiliating pain of the possibility of being less than drives self to hide, diminish, and pretend.

At the same time, self is driven by an opposing fear. What if I am better than I can comfortably tolerate? Often the diminishment of self occurs to obscure the profound capacity of self.

The paradox of soul expression is fear of the opposing possibilities of being both too amazing and too broken.

This paradox is rooted in the primary concept of worthiness. On one side, I am not worthy. On the other side, my worthiness is beyond me. In either case, the choice is to keep self down, stepped away from true expression. Either way, the assessment is simple: I am not worthy. I do not measure up. I am less than and always will be. It is beyond me to accept that I am worthy.

Learning to open your Akashic Records provides a path to examine and embrace trust and to learn that trust leads to receiving truth. This prepares you for your next step: embracing your worth.

Here. Now. As you begin to learn to work in the Akashic Records for Other, your journey embarks on learning to accept the undeniable worth of you. Proof is not needed. Your value is intrinsic. Your worth exists, open and ready for you to acknowledge, claim, and declare.

Possibly contradictory, as you set out to learn to witness for Other. However, this is first a path for you to learn about you. Yes, you have flaws and challenges to uncover. They are different, however, from worth.

Worth is the acknowledgment and claiming of self as valuable, just as you are. No need for adjustments, improvements, or excisions.

To be able to witness for another requires a balance within the authenticity of self. If you are consumed with inner battle, then there is no energy for you to see beyond yourself. Compromised within, you will struggle reading for Other. You will question, and second-guess, and doubt what you receive—if you receive anything at all.

If you are not settled in your worth, then conducting a Reading will be difficult. You will question all you receive, how you transmit, and the value for Other.

When you peacefully accept your worth, the Reading flows through you without resistance, without judgment, without pressure to perform and prove your worth.

To feel worthy, doesn’t require immediate improvement or upgrades. Simply, worth is acceptance of self just as you are, here, now. Worth is and needs no approval. Claiming your worth isn’t about behaving perfectly. Learning and growing are part of life. Accepting the fundamental nature of self as worthy opens you to the deepest levels of growth and exploration.

Being right is another aspect of worthiness. Holding understanding of the Akashic Records in the static view will create the sense that connecting well with the Records is about being right in the delivery during a Reading. However, this is a false assumption.

Within the dynamic view of the Akashic Records, the flow of the Reading for Other occurs in the present moment following the intention of Other. There is no right answer, there is only your best effort to convey what is received in the moment.

Getting caught in the belief that you must deliver the right answer is dangerously deceptive. Believing you must deliver the right answer comes from the mistaken belief that you must prove your worth. The erroneous belief is: to be right proves worth. Given that worth is intrinsic and needs no proving, then being right is immaterial to transmitting a Reading within the Akashic Records for Other.

This will be discussed in further detail in a later lesson. Don’t think of doing a right Reading or a wrong Reading. Instead, focus on a quality Reading; a Reading in which the Reader speaks truth, witnesses flow, and holds sacred space.

The determination of the effectiveness of a Reading is in the purview of the Receiver. The hard part to accept is that you can provide a quality Reading and the Receiver may not be pleased. This happens because the bias, on either side, is that only a positive experience is a good Reading. This overlooks the fact that sometimes what is in a person’s highest expression is not pleasant or even understandable in the moment.

In my experience, some of the best Readings pushed at both me and the Receiver, upsetting and angering us both. But when I stepped back, listened, and opened my heart, I heard deeper truths and realized the negative response or emotion was released by the process of the Reading. If I, as the Reader, had been caught up in being right, especially in some provable way, then the Receiver and I would have missed the opportunity to see deeper and learn more.

As a Reader, how you hold yourself directly affects the Reading. If you are self-critical and inflexible, then the flow of the Reading will be affected and hinder the experience of the Receiver.

No matter the perspective, worthiness is the foundation of any Akashic Record Reading.

In accepting your worth, the need to measure up falls away. The worry of being special also fades because you are no longer concerned with outside validation. In the balance of self, authenticity is the guide and needs neither self-diminishment nor self-aggrandizement. Worth is the simple acceptance of self, just as you are.

In the quiet balance of self-worth, providing an Akashic Record Reading to another becomes a flow, freely extended without need to be praised. You receive and transmit the flow. Other receives, processes, and chooses for self within the discovery presented by the Akashic flow of soul energy.
